History: As a human she met Carlisle at 16 when she broke her leg climbing a tree. He moved out of town but she never forgot him. She wanted to move to the West and become a teacher but her parents made her stay and get married. She married Charles Evenston and 22 years old but was abused by him. Wanting to be a good wife she kept a good face. Being relieved of him when he was drafted in World War I. He came back and in 1920 abused her badly. She soon had enough, running away when he wasn't looking she ran West to fufill her teaching goal, soon finding out she was pregnant with Charles' son. When her son was born he died of a lung infection, and having no more reason to live she tried to commit suicide by jumping off of a cliff. She was brought to the morgue, pressumed dead but her heart was still beating. While he was working around their he remembered her when she was happy 10 years earlier. Seeing her suffer hurt him so he decided to change her. After her transformation he fell in love. She married Carlisle. When Bella came into the Cullens lives she welcomed her, seeing her warm nature, she always had a soft spot for Edward because he was the first of her adoptive kids.
